Oct. 4 - Nov. 22 :	Beginner & Intermediate Hockey Clinic

	Designed to teach the basic skills of:
	Power Skating Puck Handling Passing Shooting and Scoring	The first half of the program will focus on building the basic hockey position and stride, forwards and backwards, turning and crossovers, developing power and speed to skate at the next level. The second half of the clinic will transition into application of these advanced skating skills to improve puck handling, passing, shooting, and scoring, and will break down the basic techniques for all of these aspects of the game and more.
	For beginning and intermediate players ages 8 through 12.

	Hosted by: Potomac Inline Hockey.
	Location: Planet Splash and Play, Chantilly, Virginia
	Clinic runs for 8 weeks - one hour sessions, meeting Tuesday at 5:00PM.
	Cost is $165 per student and covers all rink fees.

Oct. 4 - Nov. 22 :	Advanced Hockey Clinic

	Designed to enhance and refine a full complement of hockey related skills:
	The clinic will quickly review and reinforce the basic concepts of power skating including the basic hockey position and stride, forwards and backwards, turning and crossovers, developing power and speed. Then, moving at a more rapid pace, the clinic will move onto more advanced skills to help enhance the game of the serious hockey player. Each one hour on-rink session will be followed by a 45 minute off-rink conditioning training or classroom instruction on fitness training and hockey related topics and drug an alcohol awareness.
	For advanced players ages 12 through 16.

Oct. 13 - Nov. 17 :	Adult Hockey Clinic

	Designed to teach essential skills for improved game play:
	This clinic will be designed to teach each player the skills that are essential to becoming a better player by erasing bad habits that have been developed and understanding basic skating. Not only will the player learn to improve his/her own play, but understand why what they are doing is improving their game. The immediate effects of this clinic will be noticed by most players in the very first session. Skating will be the focus of the clinic but will also go into understanding how proper skating will improve all of the aspects of their skills. This session will not only improve each player's abilities, but will give them the knowledge to pass on while instructing children. If hockey is a sport that you enjoy playing, you will leave this clinic dying to get into your next game to use the new found skills and understanding of the game!
	For adult players of any age and skill level.
